Book a call

Talk to an engineer about your device.

Thirty minutes, free, with someone who can read a schematic. Bring what you have: a dev-kit demo, a block diagram or just a problem to solve.

Two ways to meet

Choose the call that fits

Default

30-minute video engineering call

Book a slot below. You get a calendar invite with a video link.

  • Your device, users and the stage you are at
  • Proven modules vs. a fully custom board for your first build
  • The likely certification path: FCC, plus PTCRB and carrier approval for cellular devices. A pre-certified module shortens this but does not replace it.
  • The cost drivers that matter at your volume
  • Whether a fixed-fee Gate 0 study makes sense, and what it would cover
By arrangement

In person in the San Francisco Bay Area

For teams who want to put hardware on the table: a dev kit, a competitor teardown or an existing PCB.

  • Time and place agreed by email
  • Useful when the enclosure, ergonomics or mounting are part of the problem
  • Later gate reviews can also happen in person

Meeting location: [Meeting location — to confirm]

To arrange it, send a short brief and tick "I'd like an in-person review in the Bay Area".

If the scheduler does not load, email hello@duobay.ai with two or three times that work, or send the brief and we will propose times.

Before you book

Is the call free?

Yes. The first call costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Paid work starts only if you accept a fixed-fee Gate 0 proposal.

Do we need an NDA before the call?

Not for a first conversation about the category and stage. If you want to share schematics, a BOM or model details, ask for our mutual NDA first. Mutual NDA countersigned within 2 business days. About the mutual NDA.

Who will be on the call?

An engineer who can talk about your hardware: radio, power, firmware and certification.

Can we meet in person instead?

Yes, in the San Francisco Bay Area, by arrangement. Pick a video slot or send the brief with the in-person box ticked, and we will propose a time and place. Bay Area reviews.

Have a dev kit and a deadline?

Tell us what the device must do. An engineer replies within 2 business days with questions, not a sales deck.
